What I Do
I write music for several different purposes. It can be large orchestral works or simple melodies or songs. It can be a piece of music in it’s own right or, music as part of an artistic or industrial production.
01
Art Music
Modern classical music / Contemporary music. Symphonic, chamber, solo instruments and choir.
Art music is challenging music in that it demands focused attention from the listener. It is often enjoyed by a smaller crowd.

Film Scoring
Newly composed music delivered accordingly to the needs of your movie, on time, and within your budget.
A film composer’s most important task is to assist the director in getting his artistic idea across as best as possible. A film composer has specialized knowledge of music and its potential that the director and crew depend on.

Moods
Music is – as no other art form – brilliant at conveying emotional states.
Although music does not have an explicit meaning, it can be tense, relaxed, gloomy, happy, aggressive etc. One of the reasons for this is that music has the ability to resonate the feelings and experience of the listener in a way so the listener is experiencing “meaning” in the music.

Songwriting
Songwriting, co-writing and co-producing popular songs.
Some songs “write themselves”. But some don’t. That’s where a song can benefit thru collaboration. To be able to see a song idea from another person’s perspective adds the possibility for a song to become of more general interest. Most evergreens were written by two or more persons.
